How can I adjust the setback temperature? The option is mentioned in the manual but not available. By default the setback temperature (temperature of the floor outside of the comfort periods) is 5 degC lower than the comfort temperature. I want to stop the floor using *any* power during peak periods since I’m on a dynamic rate electricity tariff. Is this possible? This is a basic thermostat function.

Ok, with the help of Kilma technical support they have advised how to set the SetBack temperature on a Kima 825502 (basic non touch non WiFi) Intelligent Thermostat:

1st set the heating system to 'Other Heating' controlled by a floor sensor: Advanced Functions > Heating System > Other heating
Now the option to set the SetBack temperature will appear under the temperature setting in the main menu.

Thank you Klima tech support :-)

Hi there , to change the setback temperature this can be done by holding down the middle button (Square button) for a couple of seconds and then select EVE by using up or down arrow. If you change the leave and sleep to a lower temperature then the controller won't heat up.

BUT doing so means periods of high power consumption and potentially could mean it doesn't heat up to the required temperature in your allocated time.

I have the 825502 non touch version of the thermostat with an up/down buttons in the middle and no square button. Is it possible to set the set-back temperature on this unit?

You can set the (any) temperature for 4 timeperiods per day. So you can create your own schedule. You can overrule the default setting. (Press the square for couple of seconds, select EVE and use arrows up/down.
