I have a K12 digital thermostat. This has stopped working and the error code is F1. I think this is the sensor. Do I need a new thermostat or just a conduit pipe?

IF it was installed correctly ,The floor sensor will be located in a conduit pipe and the conduit pipe leads up to the back of the thermostat.
