I have an odd shaped bathroom and the mats will not really work. Using the cable I can lay it in exactly the shape that It but I need to check that it is OK to use on a wooden floor base.

Hello, The cable is designed to be installed within the flooring screed (70mm sand cement screed) and therefore usually only used on a ground floor/new build scenario. Are you looking for a loose lay cable directly under tiles?
