I’ve been told that before installing electric underfloor heating under Amtico I need to stick mats on to Marine Ply and then a levelling liquid soothing compound will be put on top before fitting the Amtico – can you c9nfirm that Klima is suitable to use this way?

Our mats are primarily designed for under tiles, stone, marble or similar floor finishes, however under the flooring manufactures guidelines and specification the install method can be adapted to fit under Vinyl. However we would recommend you follow Amticos guidance which will involve a minimum self leverller over the top of the mat and a limit of the output temperature
