We always recommend a seperate RDC is fitted so the system can be isolated if required

Trying to find a suitable electric underfloor heating matt for engineered herringbone floor which I’ve been told cannot be joined as floating (has to be glued)

No the mat system is only designed for under tiles, stone or similiar type floor finishes, it can be adpated to be used with a vinyl floor under the manufactuerers guidance

HI,
On reading the instructions of how to attach the thermo boards to a concrete floor, it states to use a flexible tile adhesive. But, does I user floor leveler first then the thermo boards? Are there any set rules for the layers required, i.e. PVA sealer first -> flexible tile adhesive -> themoboards -> heating mat - > floor leveler

The underfloor heating worked for about 2weeks then started tripping the RCD. I've had this checked out and the reading is 33ohms and I have discovered that the matting is fitted underneath the bath and toilet. Is there any way, other than lifting the floor tiles and removing the bathroom fittings, to find where the fault is?

I see Room and E4 and can't alter anything except the temperature. Or does the error code mean that that's not going to work? All I want to do is manually turn it on from time to time, without a programme. Thank you!
