The ‘set back’ temperature (the target when the programme is inactive) seems to be fixed at 5 degrees less than the ‘Comfort’ temperature (the target when programme is active). If a relatively high value is selected for the times when I want the floor to be heated it means that the floor is also heating when I don’t want it to (i.e. 5 degrees less than ‘Comfort’). I see how to change the ‘Comfort’ temperature in the device menu, but see no means of changing the ‘fall-back’ temperature – please advise.

Hi there, it can be altered in advanced functions but we don't recommend it as having it 5 degrees lower then the comfort temperature allows for more efficient heating as less energy is required by the system to heat the floor to the target temperature when its 5 degrees lower. And as it requires less energy its a lower running cost. Changing the setback temperature could mean a higher running cost on your behalf.

Hi, I've just encountered the same problem. This is a major issue in causing the system to use power at unwanted times, this is wasteful and especially unwanted for users on a dynamic electricity tariff. The manual suggest the set back temperature can be set under advanced options, however this option does not seem to be available on the current version of the thermostat, please advise. Without this issue resolved I will need to return the thermostat.

As the OP mentions, it's *not* possible to adjust the setback temperature in the standard advanced menu. Is there a special super advanced menu that is not mentioned in the instructions? This is very disappointing, I want to stop the heating from any power during peak electricity periods, this is not possible since if comfort is 25 deg C the setback is still 20 degC which requires significant power to maintain. This is very wateful
