How can I adjust the setback temperature? The option is mentioned in the manual but not available. By default the setback temperature (temperature of the floor outside of the comfort periods) is 5 degC lower than the comfort temperature. I want to stop the floor using *any* power during peak periods since I'm on a dynamic rate electricity tariff. Is this possible? This is a basic thermostat function.

I had the heating on constantly using the old FHT. Now in manual mode I raise the set point temperature and it seems to reach this quickly and switch off heating but the floor is not as warm as I would like. Is there a recommended setting for constant ‘background’ for the set point figure?

We have a Tado smart heating system from our old house we would like to use with the new house, which has multiple Klima mats in different rooms.

Tado’s website says:

tado° can be connected to electric underfloor heating if these requirements are met: The electric underfloor heating system switches no more than 6 Amps. The system does not require a floor temperature sensor. The room thermostat is wired.

Presumably we only meet the last criterion? I think it has a floor sensor and is 6.5A, but want to make sure before I write it off.

If it won’t work, does anyone know if Nest or Hive work instead?
