Hello there – can I sandwich the de-mister pad inbetween the mirror and the bathroom unit cabinet door behind (melamine faced MDF)?

yes it can be as long as you know what your doing and stay within legal limits

Hello, the mirror panel is designed to be fitted directly to the back of a solid state mirror. The issue you will face on a cabinet door is the flex and the hinges.
