Benefits
Economically warms the entire surface of the tiled floor
Easy and quick installation
Primary or comfort heating
Please Note
The heating cable cannot be cut, however the mesh it is mounted on may be cut and shaped to suit;
For the best results we always recommend installing the mat on an insulated sub floor or thermal board;
A Heat Loss calculation is always recommended to determine whether the system can be used as a primary heat source;
We recommend that you check with your floor covering supplier for compatibility.
Our largest size mat is 10sqm, for sizes above this we will use multiple mats e.g 20sqm mat set = 2 x 10sqm mats
Installation
Always ensure the subfloor is insulated. The mat can be installed directly onto a concrete floor or if installing on a wooden subfloor it must be flat and stable and the mat covered with a self levelling compound.
Measure the area you require first and allow a 50mm gap from the edge of the room and any furniture. DO NOT INSTALL UNDER FIXED FURNITURE.
Lay the first run of matting. At the end of the run cut the fibreglass mat leaving the heating cable, turn the mat 90º or 180º, depending on requirements, and continue laying.
Once completed the entire floor, you can cover the mat with a self leveller and leave to dry before tiling. The matting should not be turned on for minimum 14 days after installation

Answer:-
Hi there , firstly if its a poorly insulated floor then we highly recommend to install our thermal boards on top of the plywood subfloor, if the floor is insulated then we recommend to pour a skim layer of self leveling compound before laying the mat. Secondly we recommend you contact the vinyl manufacturer and ask for their guidance on how to install their product with electric underfloor heating but a self leveling compound needs to be poured over the top , typically they recommend to pour a minimum of 10mm worth of self leveling compound before you glue down the vinyl floor but always double check with the vinyl manufacturer. Thirdly If your using 2 mats then the mats can be wired in parallel into the back of thermostat on the wall, if its 3 mats or more then we ask for a suitability rated contactor. Fourthly we ask for the thermostat to be installed on the wall in an accessbile location and is approx 1.2 metres off the ground.
