Klima Underfloor Heating Warranty Terms

All our heating elements are covered by a 10-year guarantee and our Thermostats and Sensor have a 2-year Guarantee. All of our products must be installed as per the installation instructions and the control check card to be fully completed and signed upon installation. Please see below the process to activate your warranty: –

1/ Initial contact with Klima dedicated technical department where advice will initially be offered over the phone to help try and resolve the issue – Tel:- 01887 822020 or email technical@localhost

2/ Survey form will be sent out to be completed by the installer to determine whether an engineer is required

3/ If the issue is with a heating mat we will ask for a copy of the completed control check card that was supplied with the mat and which should have been completed by the installer at the time of installation. This control check card is important and forms part of your warranty claim, as it is your proof that they system was installed correctly and also has the unique individual serial number of the system that we can trace all the way back to the production line.

4/ Copy of your proof or purchase will be required

5/ The information will be checked by our technical department and a decision will be made whether an engineer is required to visit site.

6/ We will advise whether we need to employ an independent specialised third party engineer company to visit site and identify where the issue is and repair.

7/ Our engineer will visit site with specialized equipment that can pin point accurately where the system is broken/damaged. The equipment minimizes the need to expose the whole floor and may only require a small part of the sub floor to be exposed.

In most cases it is possible to determine what the cause of external damage to the heating cable is. Only during the investigation can it be determined whether it is possible to locate a problem position and if the heating system can be fixed. Magnum Heating Ltd is only responsible for repairing the heating element if it is a manufacturing default and is not liable for any sub sequential damage caused as a result. The customer will be responsible for the coast of the engineer if it is found to be a non manufactures defect.

We may ask for any surface items to be sent back for inspection in order that we can examine and repair or replace as necessary. The cost of returns will be paid by the customer and be reimbursed if we determine that the fault lies with the manufacturer.

PE-RT Pipes : Come with a 50 year warranty, only when the pipes have been pressure tested during installation.*T&C applies

Manifold : Comes with a 10 year warranty , starts from date of purchase.

Pump : Comes with a 2 year warranty , starts from date of purchase
