The Klima Under Wood Heating Foil Mat is designed for laying under a floating wooden floor such as a Laminate or Engineered click together type Wooden flooring system. The installation does not require any glue or adhesives, but it must be installed on top of a PS Insulation type material that has a minimum thickness of 5mm.

Please Note
The heating cable CANNOT be cut, however the aluminum mat can be cut (making sure the heating cable is not damaged) and shaped to fit awkward shaped areas.
A Heat Loss calculation is always recommended to determine whether the system can be used as a primary heat source.
We recommend that you check with your floor covering supplier for compatibility.
You also require minimum 5mm PS insulation
Our Foil mat is only 3.5mm in thickness making it a simple installation within any floor construction.
With this you are also supplied a 2.5 meter Black hollow conduit pipe and installation instructions.

- Always ensure that the minimum 5mm PS Insulation is laid before the Foil mat is rolled out
- Measure the area you want to install the Foil mat in, you must maintain a MINIMUM gap of 50mm from walls and fixed furniture. DO NOT INSTALL UNDERNEATH ANY FIXED FURNITURE
- Lay the first run of Foil Matting. At the end of the run cut the aluminum foil, leaving the heating cable, turn the Foil mat 90 degrees or 180 degrees depending on requirements and continue laying.
- Once you have laid all the foil mat out make sure any exposed heating cable is covered with aluminum tape
